Hysterectomy
A hysterectomy is a surgical procedure that involves the removal of a woman’s uterus, also known as the womb. It can be done for a variety of reasons, and in some cases, the ovaries and fallopian tubes might also be removed. After a hysterectomy, a woman will no longer have menstrual periods and will not be able to become pregnant.
