Consultation Fee:
Please note, if you are a fertility patient, your partner will need a separate referral but their appointment fee will be bulk-billed. This is a private billing practice. Consult fee doesn’t include procedure/treatment cost. Consult fee’s apply to all consultations including initial consults and follow up appointments.

Prior to Your Appointment:
New Patients:
Please complete the Referral and Patient Information Form prior to your appointment. Our team will be forwarding you an online link to complete the form.
All Patients:
Please complete the Clinic to Cloud Patient Portal to view future appointments and invoices/ Medicare claims status. If you are unable to complete the registration form before your appointment, it can be completed on the day of your appointment. Please arrange to arrive 10-15 minutes before your appointment time.
Practice Pre-Payment Policy:
To confirm your upcoming appointment, a $50.00 upfront deposit is required.
This is a non-refundable deposit and applies to your initial appointment
The deposit will be deducted from your appointment fee
The deposit is transferable to rescheduled appointments
You will receive a payment reminder 2 weeks prior to your appointment
If payment is not received 1 week prior to your appointment, the appointment will be automatically cancelled
Fees:
Dr Samina Ahmed is a private Gynaecologist, Laparoscopic Surgeon and Fertility Doctor and a full payment for your consultation is required on the day of your appointment.
Please ensure you have a valid referral from your GP so that you can receive a Medicare rebate for your consultation. Almost all consultations qualify for a Medicare rebate for a portion of the fee. This includes follow up consultations you may have or any in-room procedures.
For gynaecology care, such as surgery that needs to be carried out at a hospital, your private health insurance may cover your stay, depending on your level of cover.
Cancellation Policy:
Three days prior to your appointment, Dr Samina will confirm your appointment via a text message.
If you’re unable to attend your appointment, She will ask that you provide as much notice as possible so that we can offer your appointment time to patients on our waiting list.
Cancellations made more than 1 business day from the appointment do not incur a fee.
Cancellations made last minute will incur 50% of the missed consultation fee, whilst not making the appointment at all without any contact will incur the full fee of the missed consultation.
